About the Shows
Being Erica is a one-hour series that explores the life of Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a woman who begins seeing a therapist to deal with regrets in her life, only to discover the therapist Dr. Tom (Michael Riley) has the ability to send her back in time to actually relive these events and even change them. Being Erica is produced by Temple Street Productions. The show’s creative team includes creator and executive producer Jana Sinyor (Dark Oracle), executive producer Aaron Martin (Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Best Years), and executive producers David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg.
The Nativity is Tony Jordan’s unique take on the story of the Nativity. It explores the troubled times of turn of the millennium Judea, bringing legend to vibrant life, but rooting the action in a world we can all recognize and understand. The tyranny of Herod, search of the Magi, and the earthy troubles of the lowly shepherds are all explored. It’s visually stunning, rendering beautifully a classic tale we might think we all know well, but revealing that behind the traditional, there is a universal, and very human, story. Produced by Red Planet Pictures, Temple Street Productions and K Films in association with Kudos for the BBC and CBC.
